The wood burned art depicts a dramatic scene of a shipwreck at sea, rendered on a piece of reclaimed wood. The texture and character of the wood provides a rugged and weathered backdrop for the intricate lines and shading of the shipwreck.

The ship is beautifully rendered, with fine details in its rigging and a sense of movement and chaos in its shattered structure. The wood burning technique used to create the piece adds a layer of depth and texture to the ship, giving it a sense of weight and presence.

The sea in the image is also carefully rendered, with subtle shading and texture that captures the movement and power of the waves. The overall effect of the wood burned art is one of drama and tension, as the shipwreck is frozen in a moment of peril and destruction.

This piece would be a striking addition to any home or office, bringing a sense of drama and intrigue to any space. It is a testament to the power of art to capture the raw beauty and emotion of the natural world. The use of reclaimed wood also adds a layer of sustainability and environmental consciousness to the piece, making it a unique and thoughtful work of art.

I created this piece from reclaimed cedar fencing. Then burned the lines, layering watercolor, ganache and pastels to bring the water to life and claim the ship to the bottom of the sea.

Sawtooth attached for easy wall installation allows the wood burned art to be hung and displayed conveniently.
