Behold this Treasure Trove: A reclaimed cigar box transformed into a relic of the high seas. Its weathered wood, adorned with a gleaming gold skull, evokes the mystique of ancient pirate treasure. A piece that marries history and artistry.
 
I created this piece by wood-burning the lines of the skull and the ornate background.  I layered acrylic paints, watercolor paints, and colored pencils to bring the skull to life. Finished with a gloss sealer.
